Vijaysree Venkatraman

Bio

Vijaysree Venkatraman is a science journalist in Boston who writes on a range of topics relating to science and society. She lives near “the most innovative square mile on the planet.” She has an M.S. in Chemistry from Tulane University and an M.S. in Science Journalism from Boston University. At the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), she was in the finishing team of the Human Genome Project. Since 2008, she has been a freelance writer and book critic, published by a range of outlets including Science, Technology Review, Scroll.In, Gastronomica, Christian Science Monitor, and the Boston Globe.
